Elizabeth (LMT)

Elizabeth hails from Alaska, where she was born and raised. She has experienced a lifelong affinity for alternative medicine and natural healing. In 1999 she took and introductory class for massage therapy. At that course, she met the Founder of the School of Integrating Shiatsu Alaska, Tarika Lee. Soon after, Elizabeth began attending SISA. It was here she learned to utilize Kata massage, combined with breathing techniques and proper body mechanics in order to tailor specific body types.

The Lea Method utilizes a unique blend of western and eastern techniques in order to encompass the best of both technology and wisdom. This modality has strong emphasis on customizing the experience for every individual's personal healing journey.

In May 2001, Elizabeth graduated from the School of Integrating Shiatsu. Over the years, she has been driven to take a variety of continuing education classes on a many related topics including: Chinese Medicine, Advanced Myofascial Training, Prenatal Massage, Raw Food Preparation, and Aromatherapy and many more.

For more than 12 years, Elizabeth worked as a therapist, and has thoroughly enjoyed working with people of all ages. She remains committed to learning more with every year. She feels that an optimum way to achieve a balanced and healthy lifestyle is to regularly receive therapy.

During her leisure time, Elizabeth enjoys juicing, biking, gardening, reading, swimming, hiking, yoga and staying active in all forms of martial arts. As well, she adores spending time with her family and her friends.
